About Jim Hiltz

My wife, Jan, and I have lived in Goshen since 1978 and have been active in many civic organizations in town over the years.

 

Before becoming a Real Estate Agent in 1991, I was a proud member of the Connecticut State Police for 26 years. During those years, I had many interesting and rewarding assignments. The last 8 years were spent as the Commanding Officer of the State Police Major Crime Squad.

 

Service to individuals and society has always been the benchmark of who I am. During my years as a Real Estate Agent, I have participated in many rewarding and exciting ventures. What I have enjoyed more than anything is helping people and families fulfill their dreams and aspirations regarding the purchase of land or homes. It is personally very satisfying to me to see a family grow over some time and know that I played a small role in their development as a family. To me, that is the greatest reward of being a Real Estate Agent.

 

In 2013, I met with Ted Murphy and decided to merge with E.J. Murphy Realty, LLC. I think Ted and I chose each other because we have the same values. We truly care about our clients and do everything we can to meet their personal goals in real estate.
