Edward "Ted" Murphy, Jr. is a life-long resident of Litchfield where he attended the Litchfield Public Schools. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1974. Ted joined E.J. Murphy Realty in 1979, but feels that he has been "spoon-fed" real estate since he was a young child. Ted is the owner of E.J. Murphy Realty and a licensed Real Estate Broker. He is active in the Litchfield Rotary Club, member of the Litchfield area Business Association, member of the Greenway Committee, and a member of the Northwest Connecticut Economic Development Commission. Realtor of the Year for the Litchfield County Board of Realtors for 2007 and 2008. He enjoys jogging and golf.
